For this site specific installation, I create 10,000 plaster cast pieces of the U.S. immigration stamp. The number of pieces was calculated in relation to the total area of the building that hosts this installation and, overall, covers 20% percent of the total space. This is also the percentage of immigrants currently denied entry to the U.S. every day.
